Spicy Tea Chicken with Mashed Potatoes



We don't really know what else to say, just brace yourself because this tea chicken is sweet!
Seriously, this is made with honey!:) I know!!!:)

Ingredients:

Steaming Marinade :
  • 250 ml spice tea
  • 2 Tbs honey
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • a pinch of lemon zest
Marinade:
  • 1 Tbs honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbs oil
  • a pinch of ground ginger
  • a pinch of ground nutmeg
  • a pinch of pepper
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of savory
And you'll also need:
  • 1 lb  boneless,skinless chicken breast
Mashed potates:

  • 2 lb  potatoes
  • 2 dl warm milk
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  1. Mix all the ingredients for the steaming marinade and marinate the chicken for 30 miuntes.
  2. Preheat oven to 120°C and put the marinade( without the chicken;) on the bottom of the oven. Wait until begins to evaporate.
  3. Place chicken strips on foil and put them in the oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix all the ingredients of the other marinade.
  5. Take out the steaming marinade and turn the grill function on, increasing the oven temperature to 240°F
  6. Put the marinade on the chicken strips and grill one side for 10 minutes.
  7. Turn strips over and put marinade on that side as well. Grill for 5-10 minutes.
Mashed Potatoes:
  1. Wash an peel potatoes.
  2. Cut them in quarters, wash them again and cook them in salty water for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Pour water out and mash the potatoes.
  4. Stir and mash gradually adding warm milk
  5. Add butter and mix on high until creamy.

Chicken Salad



I was thinking about a good dinner for all of us,so I made this one. No more writes.:] Here's my own recipe and the pictures. :)

Ingredients(for 4 people) :


For the chicken and the trimming:

  • 3oz. chicken breast
  • 1 cup fresh salad
  • 1 lb. potato noisettes
  • a little Gyros spice mix
  • a little baked potato spice mix
For the dressing:
  • 1/8 cup sour cream
  • a little mayonnaise(as much as you like)
  • a little mustard(as much as you like)
  • 1 Tbs pounded sugar
And you'll also need:
  • a little oil(in the pan) where you will fry the chicken and the potatoes
  1. Wash the chicken breast,and cut them into cubes. When you are done,wash them again. Fry them on medium-high heat in a little oil.
  2. Strew the gyros spice mix on.
  3. Meanwhile,make the dressing. Mix the sour cream,the mayonnaise,the mustard and the punded sugar in a bowl. The dressing is done.
  4. When the chicken cubes are fried,put them into a dish.
  5. Put more oil into the souce pan,and bake the potatoes until they're golden. Strew the spice mix on!
  6. Dish up it! :)

Muffins with Blueberry Sauce





Baking without Sarah felt like so lonely,but I thought this muffin is so easy ,so I have made them.
I was so glad,because there was American Week in the Lidl where I bought the McEnnedy American Way mix. It seemed so dream-o-licious.Let's see. ;)

Ingredients:


  • McEnnedy American Way Mix for 12 Muffins with Blueberry Sauce 
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 ml oil
  • 50 ml water

I know it's easy to bake with a complete mix,but I wanted to share you how it looks like. :)
